Dr. Red Alinsod completed medical training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1990. He served a 12-year Air Force career with 4 active duty years at George and Nellis Air Force Bases. Now in solo private practice, Red has built a large and successful urogynecology, pelvic reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic vaginal surgery following. He is the Director and founder of South Coast Urogynecology and The Alinsod Institute for Aesthetic Vulvovaginal Surgery. His International teaching program is the first of its kind to combine both pelvic reconstructive and aesthetic principles together. He has trained many of the world’s leading doctors and instructors in cosmetic gynecology and has presented his techniques worldwide. Red’s professional memberships include ACOG, ACS, ACGE, CMA, AUGS, IUGA, AAGL, ICS, and ASLMS.
Dr. Bernstein is Director of Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology Centers and one of the world’s leading experts on laser medicine and surgery. Dr. Bernstein has over 20 issued and pending patents for laser technology, both within the U.S. and worldwide. He sits as the Chairman of the Candela Laser Corporation Medical Advisory Board, is on the Medical Advisory Board for Coolsculpting and Solta, Inc. the makers of the Fraxel laser group of products and was integral in developing many of the protocols for lasers in use throughout the world. As a result of Dr. Bernstein’s research and development work, he often is among the very first in the world to utilize new laser applications for patient treatment.
Ms. Boxer is a Managing Director of the Fund, one of the Managers of the General Partner and serves as LeBe Inc.'s chief executive officer. Ms. Boxer has more than 20 years experience in advising and investing in early stage companies. Ms. Boxer has served as vice chairman of the Investment Committee for BELLE Capital, LP. She is also the Founder and Managing Member of Women Angels, LLC, an investment group with more than 100 women investors in Miami FL, Milwaukee WI, Chicago IL, and Washington, DC. Women Angels, LLC is comprised of qualified women investors who only invest in women owned businesses. Women Angels has invested over $5 million in five women owned businesses since 2007, co-investing with a number of women-focused funds including Phenomenelle Angels Fund and BELLE Capital. Ms. Boxer earned a Master in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School. Ms. Boxer is a member of the Association of Women Lawyers and the American Bar Association. She serves on the Board of the University of Miami Business School's Launch Pad, ABA Construction Lawyers and the Women's Common Wealth Institute.
Dr. Richard Boxer is currently a Visiting Professor of Urology and Visiting Scholar at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). Dr. Boxer was a finalist for the position of Surgeon General of the United States in both the Clinton and Bush administrations, and has served as a senior health policy advisor to President Bill Clinton and to the presidential campaigns of Vice President Al Gore, Senator Joe Lieberman and Secretary Hillary Clinton. Dr. Boxer has served on the National Cancer Advisory Board at the National Institute of Health and is dedicated to the advancement of research and improvement in medical standards in the provision of medical cannabis to cancer and other patients. Dr. Boxer was a delegate to the World Health Organization, and is a recipient of a Presidential Citation and the National Cancer Research Award from the American Urological Association. Dr. Boxer graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, and received his M.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Dr. Boxer is credited with 65 publications in medical journals and has delivered 48 invited lectureships over his distinguished career.
Dr. Castillo is a Fellowship-trained Female Pelvic Medicine specialist and Cosmetic Gynecologist. As owner of Swan Medical and founder and director of Women’s Pelvic Health Institute in Los Gatos, CA. Dr Castillo is dedicated to improving common aging concerns and quality of life conditions that affect millions of women. Dr. Castillo completed his OB/GYN residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in NJ, then went on to complete a three year Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After 5 years of clinical practice at Kaiser Permanente where his duties involved overseeing resident research and education and teaching medical students as Assistant Clinical Professor of Stanford University, Dr Castillo created the first private pelvic health center in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mr Ellis Downes is a highly experienced OB/GYN with a longstanding successful private practice, having been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 1999. He has extensive experience in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, but is on the cutting edge of investigations and treatments for a majority of gynaecological conditions, specifically urinary incontinence, menstrual disorders and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Mr Downes was featured in the Tatler Doctors Guide 2013 as one of Britain’s Top 250 Consultants. He is a member of various societies, including The British Society of Gynaecologic Endoscopy, International Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy and the International Continence Society. He is regularly invited to lecture and operate nationally and internationally.
Experienced public company board director; private company investor, and former President/CEO. Love to get involved in companies with great brands and great people, and help make them even better. Have been the President and/or CEO of four companies in the last 14 years, with the backing of two private equity firms. The companies are Ideal Image, The Princeton Review, Restoration Hardware, and Wellness Pet Food – I took each one through transformative change resulting in renewed growth and profitability. Also an angel investor in multiple early stage companies, and have 15 years of public and private board experience. Currently a Director of iRobot (NASDAQ:IRBT), Tupperware (NASDAQ: TUP), and Covetrus (NASDAQ: CVET). Previous board memberships include Interpublic Group (NYSE:IPG), National Life Group, Sealy, Inc. (NYSE:ZZ) and several private companies.
Dr. Kathy Fields is a practicing dermatologist in San Francisco. She is the co-creator of Proactiv Solution, an acne brand, and co-founder of Rodan + Fields Skin Care. Dr. Fields attended the University of Miami School of Medicine, where she interned in Ob-Gyn and has since focused on the care of women throughout every phase of their lives. She then completed her dermatology residency at the Stanford University School of Medicine. With a practice specializing in dermatology, lasers and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Fields has made significant contributions to the field, particularly in acne treatment and anti-aging skincare. Dr. Fields is also a Clinical Associate Professor of dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford where she shares her extensive expertise with the next generation of dermatologists. Her innovative approach and commitment to patient care have earned her a prominent place in the dermatology community.
Dr. Friedman’s illustrious career includes serving as current Emeritus Director and former Chief Executive Officer of City of Hope National Medical Center, Associate Director of the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program at the National Cancer Institute within the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Chief of the Clinical Investigations Branch of the Division of Cancer Treatment at the National Cancer Institute, and nearly a decade at the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center in various positions, from Assistant Professor of Medicine to Interim Director of the Cancer Research Institute. In addition to his clinical oncology experience, Dr. Friedman served as Acting Commissioner and Lead Deputy Commissioner for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration under President Clinton, has authored more than 150 scientific papers and book chapters, and has received numerous commendations, including the Surgeon General's Medallion in 1999. Dr. Friedman received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Tulane University, and a doctorate in Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed postdoctoral training at Stanford University and the National Cancer Institute and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Michael H. Gold, MD, is the founder of Gold Skin Care Center, Advanced Aesthetics Medical Spa, and The Laser & Rejuvenation Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Gold is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and is a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon. He has earned a national and international reputation for providing patients with leading-edge technological advances and has expertise in all facets of aesthetic care.
David Goldberg, MD, JD is recognized nationally and internationally for his innovative work with skin lasers, cosmetic dermatology, and non-invasive body rejuvenation techniques. Dr. Goldberg earned his medical degree from Yale University and has published over 160 academic papers. Dr. Goldberg was the first recipient of the prestigious Leon Goldman award, named after the founder of laser surgery. Robert E. Grove is a business executive and entrepreneur with over thirty-five years' experience in the medical and beauty device industry. Dr. Grove received a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Cornell, and a Ph.D. in laser applications from MIT. In 1993, Grove co-founded Star Medical Technologies, which became the market leader with its LightSheer laser for permanent hair reduction. Dr. Grove served two terms on the Board of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) from 1995-1998. Grove created TRIA Beauty in 2003, a world leader in light-based aesthetic devices for the consumer market. In 2012 Grove co-founded ON Light Sciences, Inc., a tattoo-removal company acquired by Merz in 2016. In addition to an active consulting business, he serves as a Director for IRIDEX Inc. (NASDAQ: IRIX), a leading ophthalmic laser company. Dr. Grove is the author of six scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and holds 25 U.S. patents.
Dr. Guerette is triple board-certified internationally recognized Urogynecologist specializing in functional and cosmetic pelvic reconstruction. He has presented and published on over 100 topics both at a national and international level and has contributed significant original research to the practice of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. He currently serves as Director and CEO of The Female Pelvic Medicine Institute of Virginia ™ and Co-Founder and Chief Medical officer of IWI™. As a world renowned Urogynecologist, he performs over 600 reconstructive pelvic surgeries a year and, for many types of procedures, has done the most globally. Dr. Guerette is a pioneer in the area of energy-based vaginal therapy with clinical and research experience in all modalities.
In 1996, Dr. Susan G. Murrmann co-founded the all-female McDonald Murrmann Women’s Clinic believing that no one else could better understand or help deal with women’s issues better than women. Since that time, Dr. Murrmann has expanded on that concept and reinvented women’s healthcare to include all aspects of women’s health—physically, mentally, and aesthetically.

Dr. Anna Petropoulos, MD is an otolaryngology (ear, nose & throat) specialist in Danvers, MA and has been practicing for 27 years. She graduated from J.W. Goethe University Medical School in 1991 and specializes in ear, nose, and throat.

Ken is the lead inventor of the Clarisonic Skin Care System. He has over 30 years of product development experience including oral care products, medical electronics, and spaced-based data acquisition and avionics for the NASA Space Shuttle. Prior to Clarisonic, Ken was director of research and development for Optiva Corporation, maker of the sonicare toothbrush. His technical expertise includes microprocessor-based systems, RF transceivers, servo controls and precision signal conditioning. Ken holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington where he also studied graduate level topics in semiconductor physics and operating system design.

Debra has a successful record of fundraising from venture capital, angel investors and non-profit donors and significant experience working with government agencies, such as FDA and CMS in overcoming regulatory & reimbursement obstacles. Debra holds a B.A. in Applied Behavioral Sciences, an MBA and R.R.T credentials, as well certificates from Stanford’s executive management programs. She has been a guest entrepreneur for 5 years as part of an HBS case study, and supports entrepreneurs through her work with Astia and with CSweetner as a mentor to female executives.
Michelle is an accomplished senior leader with the exceptional ability to run and scale businesses that result in disruptive technologies and transformative effects on consumer behavior. She has driven strong growth at Gillette, P&G and Keurig Green Mountain by leveraging the combination of new product innovation, thoughtful acquisitions, dynamic e-commerce, social media-centric platforms, brand building, and overall excellence in marketing and sales execution. Michelle is currently on the Board of Directors of iRobot Corp, Coravin, Flex Pharma and Young Innovations Inc. She has served as the Director Advisor to The Cambridge Group (an AC Nielson Company), the Expert in Resident at the Harvard Innovation Lab, and is a professional speaker on entrepreneurship, innovation and female leadership. In her previous position, Michelle was President of KEURIG, INC., a $2 billion division of Keurig Green Mountain [NASDAQ: GMCR]. During her five-year tenure, Keurig became a household brand name, delivered a CAGR of 61% in net sales and 74% in operating income – propelling total GMCR sales from $493 million in revenue in 2008 to $4.3 billion revenue for FY 2013. During her presidency, Keurig was named one of the Top 10 Places to Work in Massachusetts by The Boston Globe for two consecutive years. Prior to joining Keurig, Michelle had a successful 25-year career with GILLETTE including the PROCTER & GAMBLE acquisition of Gillette in 2005. She received her Masters in Management from J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and her B.S. from Dartmouth College.
