Our Red Light
Think of red-light therapy like skincare: a long ingredient list does not tell you the concentration of the active ingredient needed to deliver results. In the same way, more LEDs do not necessarily mean a stronger, better red-light treatment. What matters is how much red-light energy reaches the area being treated.
ILYEO body uses 12 high-powered LEDs to deliver precision 662 nm red light directly over the treatment area, deep into the tissue level. In one 10-minute session, it delivers up to 28 J/cm² of measured red-light energy, with average irradiance up to 47 mW/cm². This is real clinic-grade therapy.

The Science of Red Light
- Nitric oxide: Red light may help release nitric oxide, which regulates blood flow. It also helps relax, widen and increase local blood vessels, which supports circulation and the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the treated or damaged area.
- ATP: Red light increases the production of ATP—the energy cells need to function and repair. This additional cellular energy also supports fibroblast activity and the production of new collagen and elastin, structural proteins involved in tissue strength and resilience in our body.
Red light also helps regulate inflammation and support the body’s natural recovery processes. Together, these effects help temporarily relieve minor muscle and joint pain, arthritis pain and stiffness, and muscle spasms.

Bigger is not automatically better. We don’t dilute the red-light energy by broadly illuminating the body. Instead, ILYEO body is intentionally compact so strong, measured red-light energy can be placed directly over the treatment area. Its close-fitting design supports direct skin contact, while the flexible medical-grade silicone conforms to the body’s natural contours.
