What does “clean” mean to Joylux?
Clean beauty is a spectrum. For us, it means we use ingredients that are nontoxic, safe for people, and plant based. We’ve avoided parabens, aluminum compounds, PEGs, ethoxylated agents, formaldehyde, refined petroleum, hydroquinone, talc, triclosan, silica, and oxybenzone.
While some people think fragrances are toxic, we use a naturally-derived scent from the essential oil of the mandarin orange blossom. This gives our productsthe fresh, clean scent we love.
